In the Tasting Area you can enjoy O Grove’s most emblematic products cooked on the spot: grilled razor clams, steamed mussels, scallops, Galician-style octopus, cockles or a fine seafood rice. Simple recipes, fresh product and the Atlantic flavor as the star.

Among the most outstanding products

Grilled Razor Clams

Ingredients:

• Fresh razor clams

• Drizzle of olive oil

• Flaky salt

Preparation:

• Clean the razor clams well with plenty of water.

• Heat the griddle to maximum.

• Place the clams with a little oil and salt.

• Grill a couple of minutes per side until they open.

• Serve immediately.


Seafood Rice

Ingredients:

• Round rice

• Fish stock

• Diced cuttlefish

• Squid rings

• Cockles

• Fresh seafood (prawns, clams)

Preparation:

• Prepare a good fish stock as the base.

• Sauté onion, pepper and garlic in a large pan.

• Add cuttlefish and squid; sauté lightly.

• Stir in the rice and coat well.

• Pour in the hot stock and cook over medium heat.

• Towards the end, add the seafood and cockles.

• Let rest for a few minutes before serving.


Steamed Mussels

Ingredients:

• Ría mussels

• Bay leaves

Preparation:

• Place bay leaves at the bottom of the pot.

• Add the cleaned mussels.

• Bring the pot to high heat.

• Cook until the mussels open.

• Serve hot in their own juice.


Grilled Scallops

Ingredients:

• Fresh scallops

• Salt

• Olive oil

Preparation:

• Heat the griddle to maximum.

• Place the scallops shell-side up.

• Cook for half a minute, then flip.

• Add a drizzle of oil and salt.

• Remove when the oil begins to bubble.

• Serve with a chilled Albariño.


Galician-style Octopus

Ingredients:

• Fresh octopus

• Boiled potatoes

• Coarse salt

• Sweet or spicy paprika

• Extra virgin olive oil

Preparation:

• “Scare” the octopus (dip into boiling water 3 times).

• Cook until tender.

• Slice into thin pieces.

• Serve over boiled potatoes.

• Season with salt, paprika and olive oil.
