The 62nd edition of the Festa do Marisco has started with large crowds in the tasting tents and a program full of music and activities.
The ticket offices operate in the morning and evening, and the stalls open from 11:30 am on most days.
The program includes traditional boat regattas, a trade fair, traditional games, conferences and the Centolas de Ouro gala.
The 62nd Festa do Marisco in O Grove has published its official menu with prices. Dishes range from €4.50 for tuna pie to €21 for barnacles.
The offer also includes seafood rice, steamed cockles, grilled razor clams and octopus á feira.
The event, from October 2 to 12, combines gastronomy, music and cultural activities for the whole family.
A delegation from O Grove presented the 62nd Festa do Marisco in Vitoria-Gasteiz at the Centro Galego.
The event was attended by Mayor José Cacabelos, local authorities and members of the Galician community in the Basque Country.
During the presentation, Galician seafood such as razor clams, mussels, cockles and octopus á feira were served.
The mayor highlighted the freshness of the products and invited attendees to come to O Grove from October 2 to 12.
As the year draws to a close, the organizing committee of the Festa do Marisco meets to begin planning for the next edition. This meeting involves representatives from the City Council, the San Martiño Fishermen's Guild, and several local businessmen.
